We are now in a hotel in the city of Tambov. Crossing the russian border was easy. way too easy. The reason for this is a girl, named Irena(not sure how to spell the name) that helped us, by helped i mean translated everything, paid for car ensurance(because we of course didn't have any cash), filled out all the paperwork and for some reason she kept on smiling. "We go to my grandmother and you can sleep there".... The grandmother(babuschka)was a bit shocked by finding us sleeping in the garden, thinking we were gipsies.
After Irena explained the situation we went inside, kind of unsure. The babuschka was standing there with a cane in one hand and the other hand was waving us in while saying "welcome, welcome". We felt right at home. Breakfeast was fantastic. The Babuschka made alot of pancakes and no matter how many times we said we were full she kept them coming.
We are forever grateful!!

I must say that as your biggest fan i was a bit disappointed when i read that you went to the airport to get a ticket and fly instead. that is the reason for why i have been so quiet lately, i was really reconcidering my devotion for you. I hope this never happen again. ever.

I am very happy that you are taken care of, in a good russian way. I am not surprised, Baba´s ( the short word for Babuschka if you have not learned that yet) are in general very nice. But just remember, whatever you do, NEVER say no to another pancake. Do not do it, trust me.
